About the Team (Kitchen Assistant)
The Kitchen Assistant will contribute to seamless food order preparation and delivery, upholding high quality and hygiene standards. Your role will involve:
- Assisting with food preparation in alignment with business requirements
- Maintaining cleanliness in compliance with health and hygiene regulations
- Ensuring swift, accurate, and high-standard order fulfilment using culinary procedures
Important Note: Shifts are mandatory, requiring availability for early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.

- Proper inventory control, along with food safety and sanitation standards
- Thorough cleaning, including clearing and maintaining kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, equipment, and workstations
- Upholding strict health and hygiene protocols applicable to kitchen operations
- Delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through consistent quality and presentation
- Producing quick, high-quality food products that meet customer and company standards
- Following menu specifications—understanding visually defined cooking instructions for all dishes
- Adhering to company and legislative food hygiene requirements
- Compiling and reviewing shift opening and closing procedures
- Reporting safety concerns immediately
Requirements
To thrive in this role, successful candidates will have:
- Relevant kitchen experience, ideally within a casino, hospitality, retail, or service-driven environment
- A recognised tertiary catering qualification, including a Level 2 Food & Hygiene certification
- Proven knowledge of Asia Food & Hygiene legislations
- Familiarity with standard kitchen utensils and machinery operations
- Strong organisation, time management, and multitasking skills
- Ability to estimate daily production needs
- Flexibility to operate within high-volume, fast-paced environments independently
- Team player ethos, with keen attention to detail
