Kitchen Assistant – Required at Hermitage House in Thrapston, Part of the Country Court Family
Hermitage House Care Home is a 67-bedded luxury care home located in Thrapston, known for promoting a luxurious lifestyle with exceptional personalised care.
Hours
30 hours per week, including weekends on rota
About the Role

Our Kitchen Assistants are the backbone of our award-winning kitchens, assisting in the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality meals that are not only nutritious but also enhance health and wellbeing!
Key Responsibilities
- Help chefs prepare and deliver exceptional food for residents
- Ensure all food is correctly labelled and meets individual dietary needs
- Minimise food wastage during preparation
- Comply with COSHH and Health & Safety standards

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate, proactive, and ambitious
- Valued and empowered within our team environment
- Preferred:
- Previous Kitchen Assistant or related experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety
- Friendly, approachable, and a great team player
- Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety, along with a familiarity with the care sector
