Role Description
The Kitchen & Bathroom CAD Interior Designer/Technician is a part to full-time role (work location to be confirmed). The role involves translating client briefs into detailed CAD designs and technical drawings for bespoke kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring designs are both aesthetically refined and technically accurate.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Preparing layout plans and elevations
- Specifying materials and fixtures
- Coordinating with the in-house trades team
- Updating drawings as projects progress
The designer/technician will assist with project documentation to ensure smooth handover to installation. The role also includes maintaining drawing standards, adhering to building and safety regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and templates. Quick turnarounds on amendments are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong CAD and technical design skills for kitchen and bathroom layouts, including proficiency with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, kitchen/bathroom design packages).
- Solid understanding of interior design principles, spatial planning, materials, and finishes, with an eye for detail and high-end residential design.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to collaborate with clients, designers, tradespeople, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of practical aspects of kitchen workspaces, including food preparation, cooking flows, and hygiene considerations for functional design.
- Previous experience in kitchen and bathroom design or interior technical drawing, ideally in a premium or bespoke environment.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans, measure sites accurately, and produce clear, build-ready drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive design practices and to working effectively within a diverse team.
