Kitchen Manager – Platter Up Catering
Bethnal Green, East London
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Platter Up is a growing corporate catering company based in Bethnal Green, delivering high-quality food and exceptional service across London events and corporate catering.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Kitchen Manager to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong chef / manager who is ready to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy catering kitchen while remaining actively involved in food preparation, service delivery and the development of the business.

The Role
Managing the daily operation of the kitchen, leading and motivating the kitchen team, cooking and preparing high-quality fresh food.
You will be responsible for maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards (we use Food Alert), stock control, rota, ordering and supplier management, and assisting with menu planning and event preparation.
Ensuring smooth kitchen organisation during busy times will be central to the role.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working within a catering company is essential, along with strong cooking skills and a genuine passion for food.

You will have experience managing a kitchen team, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
A good understanding of food safety and HACCP procedures is required, as is a reliable, hardworking and proactive attitude.
