With roots stretching back to the 1900’s, the Group has grown through a commitment to quality manufacturing, exceptional service, and strong partnerships with retailers, builders, and trade professionals. Life Trade supports trade customers with a focused, agile, and service-led approach—offering high-quality kitchen solutions, reliable lead times, and a collaborative way of working that reflects the Group’s long-standing values.
As we continue to expand our trade offering, we’re looking for a talented Trade Designer who can bring speed, accuracy, and commercial awareness to our growing team.
Role Overview
As a Trade Designer, you’ll play a key role in supporting our trade partners—translating their requirements into accurate, commercially viable kitchen designs that align with manufacturing capabilities and installation realities. You’ll work closely with internal teams across sales, customer service, production and installation to ensure every design is right first time and supports our wider business goals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
