Company Description
Interduct UK Ltd is a specialist provider of cleaning, maintenance, and management services for kitchen ventilation and grease extract systems across the UK. The company is recognised as a leading expert in duct cleaning, supporting commercial kitchens to maintain safe, clean, and efficient ventilation. All services are delivered in line with TR/19 Grease.
Interduct UK Ltd works closely with clients to help them meet regulatory standards, minimise fire risk, and maintain high levels of hygiene. Team members contribute directly to creating safer working environments in food service operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Kitchen Extraction Cleaning Operative. The role involves traveling to client sites by using the works vehicle to clean and maintain kitchen grease extract systems, following company procedures and TR/19 Grease. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Inspecting ductwork and extraction units
- Removing grease and debris
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Documenting work completed with clear reports and photos
The operative will communicate with clients on-site to explain work carried out, address basic queries, and ensure minimal disruption to kitchen operations. The role also requires adherence to health and safety guidelines, completion of required training, and accurate record-keeping and time management.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of hygiene and safe working practices in kitchen or industrial environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Basic knowledge of food preparation or cooking environments, or experience working in commercial kitchens
- Ability to work independently, travel to various sites, and manage tasks with attention to detail
- Comfort with working at heights, in confined spaces, and with cleaning equipment and chemicals (training provided)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or early mornings, as required by client operations
- Good physical fitness to carry equipment, access ductwork, and perform manual cleaning tasks
- Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK

Previous experience in industrial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or ventilation systems is beneficial but not essential.
