What you’ll be doing as Kitchen Manager?
Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As a Kitchen Manager will be required to oversee the day-to-day activities of the kitchen. You will be knowledgeable about all the dishes on our menu and be able to turn out mouth-watering dishes with ease, within all sections of the kitchen. You will enjoy delivering excellent standards always, in a friendly and supportive environment.

With overall responsibility for the kitchen, you will;
- make sure all of your team are committed and able to consistently deliver on spec dishes
- manage the rota for your team, looking after them to ensure a good work/life balance
- implement health and safety processes and maintain a 5-star rating for food hygiene
- achieve GP targets for the site, as well as managing stock and labour costs
With recent senior kitchen experience, you will relish the chance to develop your career at Hydes. This role would be suitable for a Sous Chef as the next step in their career.

Alfreds is a unique bar and dining experience. People can relax in the outside seating area, or enjoy signature cocktails alongside some cracking food. Alfreds has a casual laid back atmosphere, where customers can enjoy a spot of lunch, maybe a few drinks after work, or meeting friends in the evening.

Established in 1863, Hydes Brewery is based in Manchester has expanded to include a portfolio of nearly 50 restaurants, pubs, bars, and hotels, and continues to grow, while still retaining its family feel. We have pubs across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and throughout Cheshire including Chester and Wrexham and some in the Wirral, near Liverpool.
