Join our passionate team at Warwick Conferences as a Kitchen Porter and be an integral part of our culinary success. As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our bustling kitchen, ensuring compliance with food and health regulations.

About You

We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter to work as part of the team on a day-to-day basis to assist with cleaning all areas of the kitchen by carrying out wash-up duties for Front of House food service equipment. The right candidate will ensure standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen are maintained to comply with Food and Health and Safety legislation.

This role is vital for ensuring our kitchens are clean, safe and compliant by working as part of a team of both contracted and Unitemps Kitchen Porters. You will be required to work any 5 days in 7 working a variety of shifts with various timings.

Duties will involve loading and emptying dishwashing machines with keen attention to cleanliness. For larger and greasier items, you'll perform meticulous handwashing and pre-washing. Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning kitchen areas and equipment will be part of your routine, following our policies and procedures, always adhering to health and safety regulations.

In addition to keeping our kitchen pristine, you'll assist in the day-to-day operations of food and drink areas, including the wash-up area and staff room. Your collaborative nature and effective communication skills will contribute to a harmonious team environment. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills through training in Basic Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling, Health and Safety, Fire safety, and Food Allergens.
