Role: Kitchen Porter – Arcus at The Imperial (New Opening Hotel)

Location: Bloomsbury, London

40 hours a week (5 days out of 7 days weekly rota)

About Us

This summer, we open the doors to our fully re-imagined hotel, The Imperial – a new lifestyle offering within our portfolio. With 357 bedrooms, multiple dining venues, a workout studio. Arcus is the new destination rooftop bar - this will be a new beacon, bang in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.

About The Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hard‑working Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, supporting the kitchen team and ensuring a safe, efficient working environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate dishwashers and cleaning equipment to maintain spotless plates, cutlery and kitchen tools.
  • Clean appliances, work surfaces and non‑food contact areas to high hygiene standards.
  • Support stock storage, deliveries and yard maintenance.
  • Follow food safety procedures and maintain excellent personal hygiene.
  • Use chemicals, detergents and sanitising products safely and correctly (training provided).
  • Assist kitchen staff and drivers with internal deliveries when needed.
  • Attend required kitchen and food safety training.

Who You Are

  • 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Porter.
  • Basic English communication (CEFR A1).
  • Able to follow instructions, work safely and stay organised.
  • Bonus: Level 2 Food Safety, COSHH training, hotel kitchen experience.
