Trading Post Coffee Roasters is an artisan coffee roasting and hospitality business that, since opening in 2017, has expanded to serve freshly roasted coffee, brunch, and cocktails across Brighton and Sussex.

Exceptional coffee and quality food is at the heart of everything we do and who we are. We always aspire to deliver the best quality, consistency, and service in all our Coffee Houses. About the Role

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic Kitchen Porter who thrives under pressure and is looking to take the next step in their kitchen career.

As a Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in ensuring they have everything they need to operate the kitchen during a busy service. Our Kitchen Porters demonstrate a 'we're all in this together' attitude, strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and enjoying working in a very busy work environment.

What You Can Expect

Your Responsibilities to Be

  • Support the Back of House team in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
  • Ensure the kitchen is always clean and well equipped for service
  • Action any tasks requested by the Duty Chef or Duty Manager
  • Be the face of positivity and motivation, bringing your best and most positive self at all times
  • Undertake regular training and always be striving for self-improvement
  • Work to support a busy team and take an active part in contributing to team-driven results
  • Display a smart and professional appearance, always striving to represent Trading Post Coffee Roasters in a positive way
