About the Role Are you ready to be an essential part of a bustling kitchen, working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth culinary experience? We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant Brunning & Price team at The Nelson Inn!
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment in the kitchen.
- Assist chefs, including prep work, dishwashing, corralling, and stocking any necessary supplies.
- Support with kitchen hygiene and compliance under food safety regulations.
- Work flexibly to ensure a smooth running service during busy periods.
- Embrace a team-first mentality to deliver a memorable dining experience.

Bread and Butter Compensation
- Base pay: Up to £12.71 per hour (plus additional earnings).

About You
We’d love to welcome someone who: ✔ Typically has experience as a kitchen assistant, porter, or cleaner in dynamic pubs/restaurants (but not essential—passion is key!). ✔ Thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen. ✔ Celebrates the role of a Porter as the backbone of the kitchen—not just behind-the-scenes, but an integral part of the action.
