About Us
Woolley Grange, part of Luxury Family Hotels, has just reopened its doors following a beautiful refurbishment. Join our team and help shape the next chapter of this much-loved Wiltshire retreat.
This is a permanent position at 15 hours per week, with a rate of £12.71 per hour, plus generous service charge. Flexibility will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
As Kitchen Porter Your Core Responsibilities Will Be
- Ensuring all plates, crockery and cooking equipment is cleaned: Your role will be to oversee the potwash area of the kitchen and ensure that all crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment is cleaned efficiently and correctly
- Ensure your section is prepared and cleaned down: You will ensure that your station is clean and tidy throughout your shift and at the end of your shift ready for handover
- Making sure your work area is safe and any chemicals used are used correctly: You will be responsible for ensuring your work area remains a safe environment through cleaning spillages, and the correct safety procedures are followed particularly when it comes to use of chemicals.

- Food Hygiene level 2 is beneficial but not essential
- Charisma, Engaging personality and passion for hospitality and providing great service to our guests.
- Ability to keep calm and focused during busy service and to keep your station clean and tidy throughout your shift.
