About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, washing dishes, and assisting with basic kitchen tasks. You will play a key role in supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring they are cleaned thoroughly and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including cleaning work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Assist in food preparation and basic tasks as required by chefs.
- Help manage kitchen waste and dispose of rubbish correctly.
- Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are stored properly and organized.
- Support kitchen staff with deliveries, organizing supplies, and restocking as needed.
- Ensure that hygiene standards are followed and maintained throughout the kitchen.
- Assist in the unloading and storing of deliveries, ensuring stock is properly stored.
- Help with the cleaning and tidying of the kitchen at the end of service.

Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage but not required.
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.
