About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and organised Kitchen Porter to join our legendary team in Stirling. As a Kitchen Porter, you will maintain efficiency, cleanliness, and hygiene in our kitchen operations—working closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless experience.
This is the perfect role for someone who:

Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Clean and sanitise all kitchen surfaces, countertops, food prep areas, and equipment consistently
- Efficiently manage waste disposal, ensuring proper rubbish bin emptying and regulation compliance
- Assist chefs with basic food prep, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Receive, store, and organise kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory control
- Monitor and ensure equipment safety, reporting any faults immediately
- Provide support during peak service, excelling under pressure with flexibility and teamwork
- Propose continuous improvement opportunities to enhance kitchen efficiency

Requirements & Qualifications
Essential
- Ability to stand for extended periods with sturdy physical stamina
- Adept at lifting and carrying heavy objects safely
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards
- Excellent instruction-following and collaborative mindset
- Strong people skills and clear communication
- Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation (or willingness to learn)
- Commitment to food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
Desirable
- Previous catering or kitchen experience (not essential—enthusiasm and commitment are valued)
- Experience in dishwashing, food service, or hospitality
Bonus
