Role: Kitchen Porter – Arcus at The Imperial (New Opening Hotel)
Location: Bloomsbury, London
40 hours a week (5 days out of 7 days weekly rota)
About Us
This summer, we open the doors to our fully re-imagined hotel, The Imperial – a new lifestyle offering within our portfolio. With 357 bedrooms, multiple dining venues, a workout studio. Arcus is the new destination rooftop bar - this will be a new beacon, bang in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.
About The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, hard‑working Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, supporting the kitchen team and ensuring a safe, efficient working environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operate dishwashers and cleaning equipment to maintain spotless plates, cutlery and kitchen tools. Clean appliances, work surfaces and non‑food contact areas to high hygiene standards. Support stock storage, deliveries and yard maintenance. Follow food safety procedures and maintain excellent personal hygiene. Use chemicals, detergents and sanitising products safely and correctly (training provided). Assist kitchen staff and drivers with internal deliveries when needed. Attend required kitchen and food safety training.

Who You Are
1 year of experience as a Kitchen Porter. Basic English communication (CEFR A1). Able to follow instructions, work safely and stay organised. Bonus: Level 2 Food Safety, COSHH training, hotel kitchen experience.
