Matchday Kitchen Porter – Hibernian Football Club (via Elior Stadia)
About the Role
When the crowd roars, the food must be just as exciting! At Elior Stadia, we serve epic matchday meals, gourmet hospitality, and fast-fresh stadium snacks across some of Scotland’s biggest sporting venues.
Join our team at Hibernian Football Club as a Matchday Kitchen Porter – a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly around your life while delivering exceptional food and service to fans.
This role offers plenty of responsibility and growth, making you a critical team member during matchdays and key events.
What You’ll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
- Provide thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the menu and special offers, helping customers choose the right food and drink options.
- Maintain hygienic, clean, and well-stocked kitchen areas.
- Support Chef(s) with high-standard kitchen operations, including occasional simple food prep as needed.
- Operate the till point efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
- Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations are strictly adhered to*, promptly reporting any incidents.
- Handle food deliveries and maintain proper stock rotation.
- Wash and clean large pots, utensils, and equipment.

Additional Tasks
- Monitor the operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, reporting any machine issues through the correct channels.
- Work as a team player on matchdays and ad-hoc shifts to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements
- No formal qualifications are required, though prior experience in customer-based roles or food service is preferred.
- Full training will be provided, so structured experience isn’t essential—but keen enthusiasm and a focus on customer excellence is vital!
- Flexibility to work on matchdays (dates vary) as well as occasional additional assignments.
