Job Title: Kitchen Porter
Location: Amazon NCL2 - Wynyard Park, TS22 5TH

Job Description

Dishwashing:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using industrial dishwashers.

Kitchen Cleanliness:
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, countertops, and food prep areas.
- Empty rubbish bins and ensure waste disposal compliance.

Food Preparation:
- Assist chefs with basic tasks like peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.

Inventory Management:
- Help receive, store, and organise kitchen supplies and ingredients.

Compliance with Health and Safety:
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and ensure all equipment is safe and functional.

Requirements
- No formal qualifications required; however, a high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- (Bonus) Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- £12.90 per hour (up to GBP 12.90 – hourly rate)
