Part of Norfolk life for over 200 years, Jarrolds’ London Street store is one of the region’s most loved independent department stores and a landmark in the heart of Norwich. With a proud heritage and a reputation for exceptional service, Jarrolds offers a unique retail and hospitality experience for our customers.
We have an opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our Food & Beverage team on a Fixed-Term basis from September 2026 until the end of May 2027. This role is 35 hours per week across 5 days and is ideal for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out manual washing of pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Receiving and putting away food deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and organised.
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher efficiently.
- Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and hazard-free working environment at all times.
- Supporting the kitchen team with general porterage and other duties as required.
