Kitchen Porter | White Rabbit Hospitality at The Randolph, Oxford
The Backbone of a Landmark Kitchen
Every great kitchen runs on the people who keep it moving, and this is one of them. We are looking for a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Randolph, one of Oxford's most iconic addresses, and become the beating heart of a busy, high quality kitchen.
White Rabbit Hospitality provides the food and beverage services at The Randolph, one of Oxford's most storied hotels. We are the team behind the kitchen, part of White Rabbit Projects, one of the UK's most exciting hospitality groups. From Rusacks St Andrews to Ember Locke in Kensington, we bring food, service, and energy that people travel for into landmark spaces. At The Randolph, we run the F&B, and this kitchen is going places.
This isn't a role where you go unnoticed. A great Kitchen Porter is the difference between a kitchen that struggles and a kitchen that flies, and we treat the role that way. You keep the section clean, the chefs stocked, and the pace up, and in return you become part of a team that has your back and a group that will help you grow if you want to build a career in kitchens.
At White Rabbit, our values are not a poster on the wall, they are how we work. Hospitality is at our core. We do the right thing. We pursue excellence. We are all entrepreneurs. And underpinning all of it, we work hard and we are kind.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
