Kitchen - Fowey Hall Hotel
Contract: Casual Worker
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus service charge
Fowey Hall Hotel, nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Fowey, is seeking dedicated Kitchen Porters to contribute to the exceptional experience we provide.
Job Type: Casual Worker Agreement – Hours are offered to our casual workers in line with the demands of the business. Flexibility will be key, as shifts will vary and will include some weekends. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour plus service charge.
As Kitchen Porter Your Core Responsibilities Will Be
- Ensuring all plates, crockery and cooking equipment is cleaned: Your role will be to overseeing the potwash area of the kitchen and ensure that all crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment is cleaned efficiently and correctly
- Ensure your section is prepared and cleaned down: You will ensure that your station is clean and tidy throughout your shift and at the end of your shift ready for handover
- Making sure your work area is safe and any chemicals used are used correctly: You will be responsible for ensuring your work area remains a safe environment through cleaning spillages, and the correct safety procedures are followed particularly when it comes to use of chemicals.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Food Hygiene level 2 is beneficial but not essential
- Charisma, Engaging personality and passion for hospitality and providing great service to our guests.
- Ability to keep calm and focused during busy service and to keep your station clean and tidy throughout your shift.
