We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at The Old Queen’s Head.
The Old Queen’s Head is an award-winning North London pub that balances great food, proper pints, and late nights. Our standout offerings include one of the area’s most popular Sunday roasts, our recently launched in-house pizza concept Hot Saint, and a thriving club room hosting DJs and late-night parties throughout the week.
It’s a bustling environment: a busy kitchen, high standards, and a team that takes pride in delivering excellence. We seek someone reliable, hardworking, and switched on—an individual who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and wants to contribute behind the scenes.

Responsibilities
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly during service
- Efficiently washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Supporting chefs with basic prep tasks as needed
- Managing waste, deliveries, and stock movement in the kitchen
- Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met
- Working closely with the kitchen team, especially during busy services
Requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and consistent attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- High attention to detail and strong sense of cleanliness
- Willingness to learn, support the wider kitchen team, and adapt
- Interest in food and hospitality
