Kitchen Porter is seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at Warley Park Golf Club for seasonal support.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen & bar, ensuring it meets all health and safety standards. You will work alongside a team of experienced kitchen & front of house staff, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all kitchen & bar equipment and utensils are washed, dried, and put away properly
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Helping with the preparation and plating of dishes
- Assisting with stock control and ensuring all deliveries are stored correctly
- Reporting all maintenance issues to the kitchen manager
- Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation tasks
- Laundry
- Back of house cleanliness, store rooms, ice machines, assisting with weekly line cleans.

Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and an ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Hourly Rate £12.96
Contract until the end of September, with a potential extension subject to review.
