Kitchen Sales Designer – UK’s No1 Trade Kitchen Supplier

The Role

Join Howdens Joinery, the UK’s No1 Trade Kitchen Supplier, as a Kitchen Sales Designer within our fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role is ideal for results-driven professionals with a commercial mindset, who are passionate about creating exceptional kitchens and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance and depot profit by achieving ambitious selling targets
  • Build trusted relationships with trade customers and clients through expert design support
  • Ensure exceptional customer service from assessment to project delivery
  • Conduct home visits to measure, assess, and understand customer needs
  • Negotiate pricing confidently while maintaining profit margins
  • Develop practical, inspirational designs using deep product knowledge to guide clients
  • Resolve queries throughout the design process with professionalism

Key Requirements

Skills & Mindset

✅ Strong results-driven attitude and proven ability to meet sales targets ✅ Commercial acumen with confidence in influencing purchase decisions ✅ Outstanding communication skills – able to articulate ideas clearly ✅ Ability to build trusted relationships with customers

Essential Qualifications & Logistics

✅ Valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle for home visits ✅ Full attention to detail with an eye for design (CAD skills a plus but not essential) ✅ Ability to thrive in a customer-facing, fast-moving kitchen trade environment
