Kitchen Showroom Specialist (Expo Customer Co-ordinator)
We are looking for a Kitchen Showroom Specialist (Internally known as a Expo Customer Co-ordinator) who will be based at our Expo in Watford.
The role is designed to welcome end users, generate new leads for depots and account holders local to the end users’ address.
You will meet and greet visitors by appointment and manage ad hoc walk ins where required. Part of the role will be showcasing the Howdens Kitchen ranges by speaking to the customers to understand the end users’ requirements. This information is then passed on to the depots that are local to the end user. You will also support with planned open events throughout the year.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage incoming web leads to qualify and book appointments for customer expo visits.
- Accurately record end user details to pass to depots and maintaining GDPR compliance.
- Be accountable for ensuring the Expo maintains a high standard, opens on time, has adequate catering and customers are greeted and attended to professionally.
- Ensure leads are processed in accordance with the relevant SLAs.
- Liaise and support depots who wish to attend with their customers.
- Showcase the expo to senior management teams throughout the business.

Key Accountabilities
- Meet and greet all visitors and put in contact with the relevant person if required, in line with agreed standard of service.
- Maintain an accurate record of visitors in line with Health and Safety practices.
- Liaise with onsite personnel to ensure security requirements of the site are met.
- Capture visitor details, requirements, and book any follow up services where required.
- Have a strong breadth of product knowledge.
- Co-ordinate visitors booking system.
- Work closely with marketing to help promote on social media platforms and provide feedback where necessary.

- Lead conversion rates to survey stage
- Sales revenue expectations met, in line with the number of visitors.
- No visitor waiting times.
Key Challenges
- A strong application of Howdens Product Knowledge across all Kitchen ranges and appliances.
- Confidently converse with visitors to match their requirements to the range of products available.
