Job Ref: 657823 Location: The Union Rooms, Plymouth Salary: £12.91 per hour Closing Date: 02-07-2026 Hours Per Week: 12 Hours Available: Flexible (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes)

The Responsibilities
As part of the kitchen team, your key duties will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to high standards
- Operating kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, microwaves, etc.)
- Working efficiently as a team to meet time and quality targets
- Adhering to food hygiene, allergen compliance, and health & safety protocols
- Cleaning as you go, including full kitchen clean-downs
- Storing food safely and rotating stock
- Completing induction training, role-specific training, and ongoing refresher courses
- Supporting +continuous improvement in kitchen operations
