Job Title: Kitchen Staff

Salary: £12.91 per hour (plus bonuses and discretionary overtime rate of £13.91/hr for midnight–05:59)

Contract Type: 35-hour flexible week

Responsibilities

The role demands hands-on contributions in a high-volume kitchen with emphasis on teamwork, hygiene, and consistent quality. Your core duties include:

  • Preparation & cooking: Following recipes to deliver correctly presented, hygiêne standards meals.
  • Equipment operation: Managing grills, fryers, microwaves and kettleлен fats safely.
  • Efficiency & quality: Collaborating to meet deadlines and maintain high output.
  • Walking safety compliance: Adhering to food hygiene/allergen laws and health/safety procedures.
  • Cleaning rituals: Rotating stock, spot-cleans, full end-shift kitchen overhauls, and general tidying.
  • Training participation: Completing induction, role-specific training, ongoing refresher courses, and supporting continuous improvement.

Hours per week: 35 hours

Availability: Completely flexible – shifts across:

📅 Daily: M–F (flexible am/pm slots*) 📅 Weekends: Saturdays & Sundays (full-day mixed shifts*)

*Overnight shift pay applies 00:00–05:59
