Key Responsibilities

Core duties include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to high standards and specifications.
  • Operating kitchen Workstations (grills, fryers, microwaves, etc.) and maintaining equipment.
  • Supporting the team to meet time-sensitive preparing targets while ensuring quality.
  • Adhering to food hygiene, allergen management, and health & safety protocols.
  • Frequent and thorough cleaning, including full kitchen clean-downs, to keep the space safe and organised.
  • Rotating stock and safely storing food to minimise waste and maintain standards.
  • Completing required induction training and ongoing ongoing refresher courses, while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
