The Role
Are you a Kitchen Team Member or Kitchen Porter eager to grow and develop?
At Slug & Lettuce in Cardiff, we’re looking for someone who can:
- Become part of a high-energy hospitality team
- Learn, adapt, and contribute to creating exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain hygiene, equipment, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes meet specifications for guests
- Support the Head Chef with:
- Order management
- Stock taking
- Food hygiene compliance
- Oversee deliveries and storage safely and efficiently
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic at all times
- Maintain kitchen equipment and tools
- Contribute ideas to continuously improve kitchen operations
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet business objectives
