Job Description
As our next Kitchen Team Member you will:
- Maintain all kitchen areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Health & Hygiene regulations, including deep cleaning of equipment, floors, walls, and coolers.
- Prepare, count, and sort operating equipment, ensuring correct handling of chemicals and safe storage of all items in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
- Ensure all crockery, cutlery, and glassware is hygienically cleaned and safely stored following established cleaning rosters and standard methods.
- Produce and present dishes to the required standard, ensuring correct temperature and timely delivery to suit guests' needs and fluctuations in service demands.
- Collect and dispose of dry and wet waste correctly from all kitchen areas each shift, utilizing safe and hygienic removal methods.
- Manage stock rotation, implement stock control procedures, and communicate with Restaurant staff regarding menu availability and service changes.
- Follow departmental service procedures, maintain confidentiality regarding hotel and guest information, and undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your Supervisor or Hotel Management.
