About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Kitchen Team Member to thrive in one of our busy London kitchens and create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Location: London, UK Job Type: Permanent Work Schedule: Part-Time Compensation: GBP 14.80 per hour


Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes (meat, fish, and vegetables) to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised kitchen while complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Sanitise and store dishes, utensils, and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Assist with porter duties (waste disposal, equipment maintenance).
  • Ensure proper food storage and rotation to reduce waste and maintain freshness.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to guarantee efficient food preparation.
  • Adapt menus to accommodate guests with allergies or dietary needs.
  • Attend regular training and team meetings to improve culinary skills.
  • Monitor supplies of utensils, crockery, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Foster a positive, team-driven work environment.
  • Adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar hospitality kitchen setting.
  • Strong background in food preparation and cooking.
  • Familiarity with food storage, rotation, and safety rules.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
