Are you a compassionate, experienced nurse leader ready to make a meaningful impact in mental health care across Moray?

We are seeking a Senior Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our dynamic and forward-thinking mental health team within Moray/NHS Grampian. This Band 8a role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape advanced nursing practice in a community and inpatient mental health setting.

About The Role

As a Senior ANP, you will:

  • Provide expert clinical care using advanced assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
  • Lead on service development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support and supervise nursing staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care, social work, and third sector partners.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and workforce development across mental health services in Moray.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent qualification.
  • Independent Prescriber (V300).
  • Significant experience in mental health nursing, ideally in both community and inpatient settings.
  • Proven leadership and service development experience.
  • Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
