Job Title: Business Unit Administrator (Specialist Mental Health & Learning Disability Services)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, personable individual to join the Business Unit Administration team, supporting Specialist Mental Health and Learning Disability services based at Fulton Clinic, Royal Cornhill Hospital in Aberdeen.
This is a critical role tasked with providing comprehensive administrative support to NHS Grampian’s Senior Leadership in this specialist area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support to Senior Leadership in Specialist Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
- Contribute to new systems and processes as part of role development
- Support other team members during leave or unexpected absences
- Work autonomously but maintain strong team collaboration
- Prioritise workloads effectively to meet service demands
- Ensure high levels of organisational and IT proficiency
Core Qualities Required: ✔ Self-motivated and flexible while prioritising teamwork ✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to work confidently without constant oversight ✔ Proven organisational skills and competence using IT systems
Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Excellent communication ability and the ability to work independently while collaborative
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability in keeping up with evolving processes
- Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent systems
