Knitwear Linker
We are seeking a skilled Knitwear Linker to join our linking team, working closely with programmers and production teams to deliver high-quality finished knitwear.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate linking and assembly of knitted garments and accessories, ensuring exceptional finish, consistency, and attention to detail across all samples and production pieces.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, creative environment, working alongside a talented team to bring premium knitwear to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Link knitwear garments to a high standard of quality and finish.
- Assemble and construct knitted panels accurately according to technical specifications.
- Work closely with knitwear programmers and sampling teams to ensure correct garment construction.
- Ensure seams, joins, and finishes are consistent, clean, and meet quality standards.
- Support sample development from first prototype through to production-ready garments.
- Identify and resolve linking or construction issues during sampling and production.
- Maintain accuracy when working with fine gauge, delicate, or complex knit structures.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship across all garments produced.
- Support continuous improvement in finishing and construction processes.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in knitwear linking.
- Strong understanding of knitwear construction and garment assembly.
- High level of attention to detail and quality control.
- Experience working with fine gauge or premium knitwear preferred but not essential.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and garment specifications.
- Strong manual dexterity and craftsmanship skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a production or sampling environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a knitwear manufacturing, sampling, or fashion production environment.
- Familiarity with luxury, premium, or commercial knitwear products.
- Understanding of different yarns, fibres, and knit structures.
- Experience working closely with technical or design teams.
