Knowledge & Innovation Lawyer - UK Corporate Transactions

Location

London

Contract

Permanent

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Knowledge & Innovation Lawyer to join its global Knowledge & Innovation (K&I) function, with a specific focus on UK corporate transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate lawyer who enjoys working at the intersection of legal expertise, knowledge management, and innovation within a dynamic, global professional services environment.

The Role

Working as an embedded member of the global K&I team, you will act as a resident knowledge expert for UK corporate and M&A matters, supporting lawyers across the practice with high-quality legal content, know-how, training, and innovation initiatives.

You will work closely with practice leaders and stakeholders to enhance efficiency, consistency, and value delivery for both lawyers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and maintain model documents, precedents, forms, checklists, and other substantive legal content for UK corporate and M&A work.
  • Ensure knowledge resources are current, practical, and easily accessible via internal systems and platforms.
  • Provide legal, market, and practical expertise, including collecting and analysing transaction data for benchmarking, post-deal reviews, and market insights.
  • Monitor key legal and regulatory developments and support the preparation of client alerts and updates.
  • Contribute to internal and external training initiatives, including associate and trainee training, client workshops, and firmwide programmes.
  • Collaborate with the K&I team on innovation and efficiency initiatives, including legal technology solutions such as GenAI tools, document automation, and AI-enabled due diligence processes.
  • Support business development activity through thought leadership, client seminars, and pitch support.
  • Participate actively in global K&I team collaboration and best-practice sharing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
