About the Role

You will contribute to the creation and development of high-quality legal content for our Commercial practical guidance module, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and commercial value. Your role encompasses monitoring legal developments, engaging with customers, and collaborating across teams to provide market-leading current awareness and practitioner-focused guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation, development, and maintenance of a market-leading content set for the Commercial practical guidance module, maintaining a high technical and editorial standard.
  • Monitor legal developments, including anticipated changes, to inform customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Lexis+ Hub to produce high-quality current awareness, news, and analysis tailored for legal practitioners.
  • Engage proactively with customers and market contacts to better understand requirements and stay updated on practice developments.
  • Support customer queries via feedback channels and LexisAsk, across relevant legal areas.
  • Collaborate with other Lexis+ practice areas and the wider business as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer in England and Wales (solicitor, PSL, or barrister) with significant experience in commercial law and practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant laws, procedures, and legal processes.
  • Ability to clarify complex legal concepts in clear, concise, and accessible formats aligned with house style.
  • Deep insights into the legal market, in-house legal challenges, and practitioner needs.
  • Experience drafting legal content, including substantive and procedural materials, as well as updates on key developments.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and planning skills to meet demanding deadlines and objectives.
