About the Role
You will contribute to the creation, development, and maintenance of high-quality legal content within the Commercial practical guidance module, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and commercial value for legal practitioners.
Your involvement will include:
- Monitoring both current and future developments relevant to both customers and internal teams.
- Collaborating with Lexis+ Hub to deliver tailored knowledge materials (current awareness, news, and analysis).
- Engaging directly with customers and market contacts to ensure requirements and trends are fully understood.
- Addressing customer queries via feedback channels and LexisAsk.

Responsibilities
- Work with the team to maintain a market-leading standard in commercial legal content—from development to technical editing.
- Monitor emerging legal trends and anticipated upcoming changes, ensuring coverage is both current and commercially valuable.
- Proactively contribute to current awareness insights, ensuring they reflect how practitioners apply guidance in practice.
- Ensure the proactive dissemination of relevant insights to legal professionals through LexisAsk and other channels.
- Collaborate effectively with other Lexis+ product teams and wider business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in England and Wales (solicitor, PSL, or barrister) with significant commercial experience.
- Profound technical and practical knowledge of relevant commercial laws, procedures, processes, and recent developments.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively—clearly, concisely, and consistently in-house style.
- Deep understanding of the legal market and in-house practices, including practitioner needs and emerging challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to draft high-quality substantive and procedural legal content, including updates on evolving legal developments.
- Strong research, organisation, and time management skills, with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
