Knowledge Paralegal
Knowledge & Innovation Paralegal

We are seeking a pro-active, highly engaged, and adaptable Knowledge & Innovation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This role may be particularly suited for early-career law or information graduates, or those with experience in a similar capacity.
The Role
This full-time position offers remote or hybrid flexibility, with the option to base yourself in any of our:
- Bristol
- Birmingham
- Leeds offices.
The role may occasionally require travel to any of the above locations or other sites as needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide timely and high-quality legal and commercial research in response to queries from lawyers and business teams.
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and sector developments to produce alerts and current awareness products.
- Maintain and update knowledge systems, intranet pages, and internal repositories to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Support legal technology, AI, and process improvement projects, including:
- Tool testing
- Workflow documentation
- User guidance and training materials.
- Assist in promoting the team’s work, including:
- New-starter inductions
- Training on research tools and resources.

Requirements
Essential
- Graduation in law, information, or a related field, or legal, knowledge or research experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong research skills with a demonstrated interest in legal, commercial, or professional services research.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to summarise information concisely and accurately.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to organising information.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, plus the agility to quickly learn new databases, systems, and digital tools.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive, curious, service-oriented approach, with the confidence to engage with colleagues across all levels of seniority.
Desirable
- Familiarity with legal or business research platforms, news aggregators, and AI prompting.
- Experience in maintaining HighQ sites or other knowledge repositories.
- An interest in AI tools, legal technology, document automation, or process improvement.
- Experience creating user guides, training materials, newsletters, or current awareness updates.
