Knowledge Transfer Manager – Beef & Lamb Engagement
The Beef & Lamb Engagement team is seeking a Knowledge Transfer Manager to translate research and best practice into actionable insights for levy payers nationwide. This full-time role (with potential for job share) requires flexible travel and a full UK driving licence.
About the Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact knowledge transfer (KT) activities, supporting informed decision-making and on-farm improvements. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll design and execute KT campaigns aligned with sector priorities while leveraging livestock expertise, practical communication skills, and a passion for driving change.
This collaborative, results-driven position is ideal for someone who thrives in diverse settings and possesses a strong grasp of agricultural knowledge exchange.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Content Delivery
- Develop and implement KT campaigns, materials, and resources aligned with sector strategies
- Translate research & technical outputs into farmer-friendly, user-centred content
Collaboration & Relationships
- Bridge research, engagement, and technical teams to maximise impact
- Partner with Regional Engagement Managers to create targeted messaging
- Cultivate relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and partners
Reporting & Evaluation
- Generate insights on KT effectiveness, outcomes, and impact
- Support events, trade shows, and broader engagement initiatives
Essential Criteria
✔ Proven understanding of beef and lamb sectors (or adjacent livestock operations) ✔ Experience in knowledge transfer, project delivery, or technical communication ✔ Ability to operate within budgets and deadlines ✔ Demonstrated track record of effective KT/engagement activity ✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder credibility ✔ Collaborative mindset with cross-team coordination and meticulous organisation
