KS1 Class Teacher (MAT Cover)
Class Teacher Position – James Dixon Primary School
MPS/UPS (Outer London) | 0.6 FTE | 3 Days Per Week (Wed-Thu-Fri) Maternity Cover | September 2026 Start | Interviews: ASAP
We are seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher who relishes working with pupils and has strong subject knowledge in preparation for a replacement maternity cover role (0.6 FTE, Wed-Thu-Fri). Essential qualities include a commitment to building positive working relationships across the school’s multidisciplinary team.
The Role
- Work under leadership staff to guide groups/individuals in managing pupil care, including those with SEN
- Support supervision and access needs for pupils within the classroom environment
- Contribute to the school’s unique ethos, including fostering a Forest School, steel band, and Arts-focused curriculum
