KS1 Early Career Teacher - Worksop

Are you an ambitious KS1 Early Career Teacher looking to gain valuable teaching experience across primary schools in Worksop while building your confidence ahead of the new academic year? Academics are supporting a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Worksop who are seeking motivated KS1 Early Career Teachers for temporary, flexible ongoing teaching opportunities.

With September fast approaching, now is an excellent time for Early Career Teachers to register with Academics.

About the Role

This KS1 Early Career Teacher role offers the opportunity to teach across Year 1 and Year 2 classes, allowing you to broaden your classroom experience, develop your teaching practice, and gain exposure to a variety of school environments. With schools already preparing for September, this is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with local schools and position yourself for future long-term or permanent opportunities. Academics also work with schools that may be able to support ECT induction terms, making this an ideal time to begin your teaching journey.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Early Career Teacher or recently qualified teacher
  • Good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
  • Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
