KS1 Phase Leader Wanted in Islington
A friendly and ambitious primary school in Islington is seeking an experienced and motivated teacher to join their leadership team as KS1 Phase Leader from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner looking to take the next step into leadership within a supportive and forward-thinking school.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have strong experience teaching within KS1
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Be passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress
- Have the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team effectively
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons with high expectations for all pupils
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
The Role Will Include
- Leading the KS1 phase across Year 1 and Year 2
- Supporting teaching and learning across the phase
- Monitoring progress and attainment
- Coaching and supporting staff development
- Working closely with senior leadership to drive standards and school improvement
