Teaching Assistant – SEND & Key Stage 2 (Fixed Term)

About the School
The Beeches Community Primary School is a friendly and happy school where staff place children at the heart of everything they do. We are part of the thriving multi-academy trust ASSET Education.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and talented Teaching Assistant with expertise in Key Stage 2 (ages 8–11). This varied role includes:
- Delivering personalised Special Educational Needs (SEN/D) support for individual children and small groups
- Providing high-quality classroom assistance to enhance learning
This fixed-term position (linked to Higher Needs Funding) will focus on supporting pupils in Years 4 and 5.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Relish supporting learning in an ambitious and diverse school environment
- Collaborate with dynamic, forward-thinking staff with high aspirations for children
- Exemplify outstanding professional practice, including behaviour management and setting high expectations
- Commit to ongoing professional development and embrace training/qualification opportunities
- Possess strong proficiency in English and Maths, with GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) preferred
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification would be advantageous

Salary: £25,185–£25,989 per annum (pro-rata) Hours: 8:40am–3:15pm, Monday–Friday (standard school term).
