KS2 SEN TA
SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 2
Full-Time | Immediate Start
Gillingham, Kent
We are currently seeking a dedicated, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Gillingham, Kent on a full-time basis with an immediate start.
This rewarding role will involve supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, helping children with additional needs to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Be calm, nurturing and adaptable in their approach
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Encourage independence, engagement and positive behaviour

Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a school or SEN setting
- A good understanding of SEN and strategies to support pupils effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and caring attitude
