Make a Real Impact as a KS2 SEN Tutor
Are you a passionate, friendly educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors who’ll provide personalised 1-1 support for KS2 level students in English, Maths and Science. These in-person sessions in Haringey offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
Job Details
- Location: Haringey
- Type: In-person
- Hours: 10 hours per week
- Available Days and Times: Monday - Friday, during school hours
- Contract Length: Ongoing
- Subject and Level: KS2 English, Maths and Science
- Start Date: Mid September 2026
- Rate of Pay: £35 p/h
What You'll Do
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Provide targeted support for students
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or Specialist SEN training
- 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
- Experience working with students with PDA is essential
- Experience working with students with autism
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
