We are looking for teaching assistants to work in a Primary School located in Manchester with Year 6 children in a general Teaching Assistant role.
The role requires an individual who is of a caring and patient nature, that has a commitment to the roles they undertake. The attributes of the candidate would be someone who is friendly and fair in their approach in methods of teaching, along with their ability to manage behaviour. Punctuality is of the utmost importance as the child will need support in some of the most difficult times of the school year along with being able to demonstrate great behavioural management techniques to ensure you are assisting the learning to the utmost highest standard as the child prepares for their SATS. The expectation of work would run Monday - Friday, 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30 am - 3:30 Pm with the role being available to start as soon as possible.

Requirements
- Experience working with a KS2 environment
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Eligibility to work in the UK ( No Sponsorships Provided )
- Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
- Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
- Able to use initiative to do general tasks within the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring pupils stay on task
- Controlling behaviour
- Providing support to children on a 1 to 1 basis or in a group setting when required
- Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
- Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support.
