Job Description

Job Title: Kurdish Language Expert

Job Type: Contract

Location: Remote

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish text to ensure linguistic accuracy and clarity.
  • Provide expert linguistic analysis to improve AI understanding of the Kurdish language.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to annotate and review data for AI model training.
  • Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets in alignment with project objectives.
  • Evaluate and improve the quality of Kurdish language content for various applications.
  • Participate in regular team discussions, sharing insights on Kurdish language nuances.
  • Act as a cultural and linguistic consultant for AI and language projects.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Kurdish, with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Proven experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and command of Kurdish language conventions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Kurdish and English.
  • Solid understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural contexts.
  • Capability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with AI training data, annotation, or related linguistic projects is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in computational linguistics, natural language processing, or a related field.
