An exciting leadership opportunity is available within the Podiatry service of Aberdeen City HSCP.

This key clinical leadership position—Podiatry Team Leader—supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across community and specialist pathways.


Responsibilities

As the Podiatry Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical and operational leadership to the Aberdeen City Podiatry team
  • Supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care
  • Leading service improvement, quality assurance, and governance activities
  • Managing and supporting staff through supervision, appraisal, and workforce development
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across primary care, community services, and acute settings
  • Contributing to the strategic development of podiatry services in Aberdeen City

Requirements

We seek a highly motivated, forward-thinking Podiatrist with:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Post-registration experience in clinical leadership and specialist areas, such as:
    • MSK (Musculoskeletal) care
    • Minor Surgery
    • High-Risk patient management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Experience in supervision, mentoring, or team management
  • A commitment to continuous service improvement and evidence-based practice -Ability to work effectively across complex healthcare systems and manage competing priorities
