The Role
Kyndryl Consult is the fastest-growing business within the organisation and instrumental to the company’s strategic growth objectives. As a Consult Partner, you will:
- Play a key leadership role across multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through complex consulting engagements.
- Create and position strategic change agendas within Kyndryl’s largest accounts, spanning business-IT intersections and customer ecosystem transformations.
- Drive profitable growth by leveraging comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships and lead teams to success.
- Focus on financial impact, utilisation, client relationships, leadership, and deliver high-quality client work alongside senior stakeholders.
This role is transactional, involving pre-deal or post-deal planning and execution.

Additionally, you will have a specialist industry focus in Retail.
Required Responsibilities
Your role demands client leadership, strategic thinking, and financial acumen. You will be expected to:
Contribute to Profitable Growth:
- Drive significant financial outcomes, targeting £12–15m in annual sales volume.
- Ensure sustained growth while managing margin expectations and backlog.
- Identify, pursue, and convert pipeline opportunities.
- Scope and negotiate engagements ensuring profitability, risk awareness, and feasibility.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain deep CXO-level relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Lead C-level interactions, deliver complex engagements, and secure high-NPS client satisfaction.
- Develop client references and curated relationships.

Operational Excellence:
- Achieve team utilisation targets and ensure quality client service.
- Design and oversee delivering complex engagements ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the CXO/sponsor escalation point for engagements.
Leadership, Management, People:
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
- Ensure commercially focused, value-added outcomes while supporting team development.
Strategic Contribution:
- Utilise industry and technology expertise to shape company initiatives.
- Align with Kyndryl’s growth strategy and drive eminence in the market.
- Develop thought leadership through intellectual capital and industry branding.

- Proven expert: Extensive experience in delivering high-impact outcomes across consulting, corporate, or public sector engagements.

Required Skills and Experience
- Senior client relationship management at CXO level.
- Finance-first mentality with profit-driven pipelines and margin management.
- Project leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and complex engagements.
- Retail industry focus, combined with expertise in Technical Modernisation/Security/Resilience (or Innovation at Scale).
- High-level professional presence with strong industry brand credibility.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver transformational change in digital domains.
