Lab Clinical Specialist – Arthrex Ltd

The Role: Lab Clinical Specialist
The Lab Clinical Specialist will support Arthrex Ltd in delivering exceptional professional training and surgical product support to surgeons, theatre staff, and our rapidly expanding sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a specialist within the ArthroLab, focusing on Arthrex procedures and surgeon support.
- Train and mentor surgeons in-person, ensuring rounded proficiency during all ArthroLab events.
- Collaborate with AthroLab staff to optimise event planning, including agenda organisation and implant logistics.
- Lead training days as a component of the UK New Starter Programme.
- Manage expectations at lab stations to guarantee outstanding learning outcomes and practical skills development.

Requirements
Education & Professional Background
- Degree in Sports Medicine, Adult Education, or a related field (relevant topic).
- Preference for candidates with prior clinical/theatre experience, ideally in orthopaedics.
- Orthopaedic sales representatives looking to transition into medical education roles.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with both HCPs (Healthcare Professionals) and internal staff at all levels.
General Competencies
- Ability to prioritise workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Deep anatomical knowledge, with a commitment to lifelong, accurate learning.
- Advanced understanding of surgical techniques and proven clinical knowledge.
- A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Soft Skills & Technical Proficiencies
- Science- or orthopaedic-influenced educators skilled in both hands-on training environments and classroom presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating impactful training materials.
Working Arrangements
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday) within standard office hours (8:30am – ± end of day).
- Based at the Arthrex Ltd office and Lab site in Solihull, UK.
