Lab Technician
Lab Technician – Medik8 Innovation Centre, Aylesbury
About the Role

As our Lab Technician, you’ll be a crucial part of the Formulation function, reporting to the Formulation Manager and collaborating closely with in-house scientists. Based in our state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in Aylesbury, you’ll work with cutting-edge equipment and industry experts to develop your skills through mentorship while ensuring product quality, efficacy, and efficiency.
This role offers a dynamic opportunity within the heart of product development, where excellence is consistently achieved.
Salary & Location
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Aylesbury, UK
Responsibilities
- Ensure QC testing procedures are followed precisely to validate product quality and safety.
- Support the R&D Team by assisting in product formulation, testing, and development.
- Enhance your understanding of Medik8’s product range and the broader skincare industry to drive innovation.
- Propose and present innovative ideas to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
- Maintain lab functionality, including stock management of consumables and raw materials.

Requirements
- Proven experience in Quality Control, or a degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, methodical approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage complex tasks efficiently.
